Hello ,
My name is claudio , I'm from Argentina,I tell them my story a bit .

My father had a Rumi Formichino in 1970 ; then with a Gilera 200 had an accident during those years and could not walk again unfortunately .
In 2010 my father died and I decided to buy a Rumi Formichino tribute .Then I fell in love with this bike and in 2013 bought two Formichino more .
I was reading some forum and there are lots of interesting information .

I apologize but using google translator, I send warm greetings from Argentina.

Cavanna Claudio.

Hi Claudio,

Your story is sad and beautiful at the same time, your father probably would be very happy knowing that you have those little Formichino. Thanks for sharing your story with us.
Nice that you sent us photos of your bikes and your very car too, I like it. What is it?, is it a Fiat?

By the way, welcome to the forum ;)

Hugo

Hi, thanks for the welcome,

The Red Rumi is almost ready ; I am now slowly looking for pieces to disarm and restore the green Rumi.
Orange rumi is the last purchased and is quite complete that will have to wait their turn to restoration .
The car is a Fiat 128 Berlina 1975 L ( luxury ) restored by my two years ago.

Best regards
claudio

Hi,

I see the red one is very good condition. Please send us photos once you have it completed.

The car is really nice. I have search in google for this model right now and certainly the color your car has suit very well on it, nice color.

In case you do not know, there is also an Argentinian Moto Rumi forum, they may help you there to find the parts you need for your other two projects.

Greets
Hugo

Hi Claudio,

It is great that you guys have met in Christmas for dinner. I know Claudio, Juan Nizio and Enrique, not in person unfortunately, but with some of them I talk quite often by email.

Keep us update about your bikes restoration.

Greets,
Hugo

Hi Claudio.
Are any of your machines, restored or needing restoration for sale?
Do you know how much it would cost to ship a Formichino to England.
Best regards
John Firth.

Greetings.
