Dear DThomas - why not take a good look at the installations guide you got, together with your purchase of the (4 wired?) system?
In MY installations guide - there are very clear drawings - naming each individual wire, both by function, and by colour, making it almost impossible to get it wrong!
If you cant find your installations guide - then you can download a new one from the PowerDynamo homepage...
They also have a socalled "Trouble shooting Guide" at the same place.

hopefullythis problem is now solved powerdynamo had sent me the wrong coil thay are sending me the correct one fingers crossed

What was wrong with the coil you got?
I believe it might interest all "would be" PowerDynamo customers, to learn about what they should be vary off, when receiving a package containing "the Moto Rumi ignition kit"

Hi it looks like simple mistake thay sent me the coil for old system which as 4 wires and the new one as 3. I can not fault powerdynam as soon as i let them know the problem thay apologised and said thay would send me the right one so i could not ask for more than that

PS. did the PowerDynamo people send you an installations guide over the 4 wire system, or over the 3 wire system - in the first place?
At what date & year did you purchase the kit??
It seems that there now is two slightly different systems: One system for all the Scooter models - and another system for the motorcycle models...

hI sorry for the late reply the coil came yesterday i pluged it and the plug sparked with just a slow turn of the wheel so back to the rebuild
