Re: altroller germany 2020

Hi Hugo, yes I know its early but I understand the hotels in sigmaringen are already all fully booked as are many in the surrounding towns, so anyone considering what looks to be a huge event would need to book soon. the biggest shame is that the French club have their spring sortie midweek between ...

A large classic scooter event will be taking place in Sigmaringen Germany 29th may/1st June 2020, primarily to celebrate 70 years of German scooter production, but all classic scooter riders are welcome, I will be attending "likely with a Rumi", I intend to take a leisurely ride to the following wee...

Hi Claudio, very nice bag, I tried to find someone in Italy who would have the dimensions and details to get one made, but I failed. Do you think it would be possible for me to have one made in Argentina?. Regards, Graham.

Re: Bol D'Or - New Project

Hi Hugo, what I mean is that the input and output gear shafts rely on the end plates and the large ring to locate the bearing on the ignition end, without the end plates in position the gearshafts rely on the grip of the casing halves to stop the shafts from moving towards the ignition side, ideally...

Re: Bol D'Or - New Project

Hi Hugo, I have not had oil leak from that position on any of my engines, the usual places if not from the 3 ignition side plates you have sltesdy looked at are 1 the clutch arm, 2 the gear change lever, 3 the kickstart lever, 4 the oil level screw. Also be carefully not to use gaskets that are very...

Re: Carburator and ugly sound

Hi Hugo, the first thing I would check is that the atomizer you have changed is a 2 stroke one, both the 2 and 4 stroke atomizers fit but your formi will not run correctly with the 4 stroke version, the 2 stroke ones are plain - the 4 stroke ones have some small holes drilled along the tube section....

Rumi substituted by Maico on the derby 150

I gave the rumi a break from its usual duties on this event yesterday, I have a 6 hour endurance event in a couple of weeks using a maicoletta, so I thought this would give me chance to get some practice miles in on one of these long wheelbase monsters = its faster - eats up the miles easier - has a...

Re: Moto Rumi Sport - 1951 (Fixing some problems)

Hi Hugo, to me jpeg 2 and 3 look like classic 2 stroke nip-up, the fact that it happened when you closed down after a run would suggest that your carb is running lean on pilot, jpeg 4 is a little more worrying due to the score being in line with the ring peg = I would give the condition and security...
