Type in moto rumi images on your computer and look at pictures. Also if you rub back paint hopefully the original colour is still underneath to be found. Arthur

Hello, when i worked on rumis years ago dry plugs and non starting was quite often seen, the reason was quite often the centre crankshaft seals allowing crank pressure/fuel to be pushed from one side to the other, new seals normally cure problem. one of he reasons i was looking at the MZ 5 speed box is that it uses a selector drum the same as a moto rumi does and also I can make shafts to suit as the gear sets are a touch narrower than moto rumis.also the 4 cylinder will be 250 cc the same as the mz.

am looking at using 250 mz 5 speed gear box parts when i carry on making my four cylinder engine,was put on hold whilst i wated for operation on my neck at christmas,nearly wound up not walking anduse of y left arm and hands due to disc squashing spinal cord,but a lot better now, but about 75 per ce...

take the footrest /crash bars off,remove carburettor and also drain petrol tank.stand on a large wood block or sturdy box under engine,so wheels are just of ground,also remove clutch cable under engine first,then remove left hand engine side cover, then split chain and remove flywheel and back plate...
