question, what is the cable going into the top rear of the chain side cover on 200cc engine unit.
The speedo drive was taken directly from the gearbox, this is the cable you are talking about.

Re: Formichino Serial Numbers

There should be some reason ... maybe some European dealer that supplied to the rest of Europe, and the North American market, for example, some French dealer... Sure that red badge, did not come to the Argentine market.

Re: Formichino Serial Numbers

ok, bad mine! I have just dropped a theory, of the many confusing that there are around the world of the numbering of Rumis ...

Another is, why Argentines Rumis have the prefix R125, where was stamped that prefix, in italy or here?? Nobody knows... :?:

Re: Engine doesn't sound as it should ... (BIG SURPRISE INSIDE)

Put the piston 1, 2mm BTDC, and place the flywheel, matching the "I" with the white dot on the crankcase and test if it works..

Good luck!

Re: Engine doesn't sound as it should ... (BIG SURPRISE INSIDE)

This electronic ignicion don`t need "the little pin", it´s enought tightng very well the nut. Now, if you don`t know how the flywheel was installed, you have a problem, you should make a new ignition timing.

Regarding the weird noise you were hearing, I doubt this is the problem.

Re: Engine doesn't sound as it should ... (BIG SURPRISE INSIDE)

Indeed Hugo, the scooter produces more sparks than it needs, since that electronic ignition is for single-cylinder engines and works in Rumi with "missing" spark, that is, both spark plugs produces spark on all crankshaft rotation, which is not a problem, I had used, and it works excellently well, e...

Re: Replacing CEV switch

Hugo, surely in your old switch, you haven`t installed the pilot bulb, then you don't have either the +ve via resistor cable (this cable it`s necessary only for the pilot bulb), without these two, you have 5. this way you can connect your new switch without those functions..

You must have 7 wires: 1 & 2= Main and dipped Beam 3a= Tail + speedo Lights 3b= +ve 3c= Pilot bulb 5= +ve via resistor 4= horn I recomend to you, to use one multimeter, for understand how ...
