I am probably repeating a previous post but I am interested in fitting front shock absorbers to my Rumi can you advise me on the type to fit and how you clamp to the top of the forks and also the method of fixing to the front hub and most importantly is it worth it ?

I bought the cloverleaf bolt tool from moto rumi club GB Paul Stokes about 2years ago you could have either T bar type or a tool to fit a socket !

Rumi single seats can be fabricated from lambretta single seats which can be bought new on ebay for about £60- £70 for both seats inc covers .There is a very good article in the rumi GB magazine on how to convert.

Hi I too am interested in the LED conversion so I contacted the website to see if they make festoon type LED bulbs for the rear lamp, they dont ! so do you convert the rear lamps to bulb holders to accommodate the LED bulbs.

Hi DT I fitted a modern carb to my tipo a dellorto PHBL 22mm which I got from Eurocarbs at reading They were very good I gave them my jet sizes and they supplied a carb with jets and aircleaner.I have found an improvement in the performance also its much easier to start.
