Yes Hugo, 24/24 watt headlamp and 5 watt tail lamp. I think you can get halogen lamps from Paul Goff lamps.

I endorse UHJ's comment. The Tipo Sport that I bought new in 1960 had the grey model (B) with NO Rumi motif on it.

Re: I found a bicarburatore that isn't a bicarburatore.....help!
Hi Montesa, On the bicarburettor the engine down tubes connect on the outside of the engine casting lugs.On the sport and supersport they connect on the inside of the lugs. The reason for the former is to make room for the twin carbs.

I think the reason for the longer seats was if you wanted to carry pillion passengers.

Re: My "new" old Bicarburatore
Hi Hugo, Have a look at my previous Supersport seat, (item 24 in publications), and you will see it is the same length as your one.
My one was an original seat and my sister recovered it for me. In fact she done many Rumi seats for me.
Cheers Tony.

Re: Supersport (or Bol´Dor) manifold wanted!
Lasse, On both the supersport models I have had the carb manifolds have had the oval type port opening.
I think what you need is a Tipo Sport manifold. That has the large rectangular port opening.

Hugo, Then the old clips for a bit more security.
The spring clips usually hold the reflector to the glass and to the rim. In other words spring clips go between reflector and rim. Hope you understand me.

Re: Sleeving a carburetor...
Hi Lasse, Before you start sleeving your carbs I think it might be an idea to experiment with the length of your exhaust pipes.
I notice the ones you have on your 'corsa' are quite short. I used to run my two 'juniors' on 22mm carbs with no problems.

Re: My "new" old Bicarburatore
Looking at the photos of the speedo gear and the speedo housing, I only can imaging a felt ring sitting at the same position of the gear (but over it because the diameter is bigger as I illustrate in the image below) and in front of the housing (to avoid the lubrication goes out when everything is ...

Re: My "new" old Bicarburatore
Hugo, On the rear wheel layout, the felt seal 217/43 is housed inside aluminium 216/43 which also acts as a spacer.
On the cev speedo drive felt seal is not in a housing.

Re: My "new" old Bicarburatore
UHJ, You do not have to agree! Have you any experience of the use of either suggested method? Lumiweld or chemical metal. We are talking about a repair to an oil drain hole, not to the structure of the fork leg. The fork leg contains hydraulic oil which is not under pressure. Another method could be...

Hi Hugo, Two other methods to overcome your problem.
1. Lumiweld. A DIY low temperature alloy welding method using a butane torch.
2. Chemical metal. Resin bonded ally chemical filler.
I have used both in the past with good results.
Regards Tony.

If the wire breaks, is that what they mean by 'FLYING OFF THE HANDLE' ???

Re: My "new" old Bicarburatore
The kick start quadrant is quite normal,as David says.
The loose ball bearing you found is the clutch thrust bearing. Sits in the 'dimple' in the centre of the clutch outer drum.
When assembling it is advisable to fill the 'dimple' with grease to hold the ball bearing in place.
