125 Turismo

Post by MattWard » Wed Jun 17, 2020 10:52 am

Hi all, my name is Matt from the UK , I'm a new member to the site and have a recently purchased Turismo 125 from Italy.
I have a duplicate Itlain logbook that came with the bike which dates to 1960 but I think the bike is older, please can anyone help me identify the year of manufacture.
Frame number is 14175.
Engine number 1B.12926.
I've added some photos which I took yesterday of the bike.
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
thanks Matt.

Hi Matt,

I just want to give you a warm welcome to Moto Rumi Forum and congratulate you for your recent Rumi Tursimo acquisition!!! Beautiful bike! ;)

About the serial numbers and the exact year of manufacturing I personally can't help you, however I hope some members of the forum that has that information will help you with it.

Feel free to download any manual, brochure or anything else you may find interesting at the Downloads section of the forum.

Enjoy that beauty!!!
Hugo

Hi Hugo,

Thank you for accepting me onto the Forum and your kind words on my new Rumi, I took her for a first ride yesterday in the nice weather, the bike performed faultlessly,
thanks Matt.

Hi Matt,
welcome to the circle of RUMI friends, I have the number 14170 in my archive, and that is from April 1954, production then around February to early April.
Enjoy your Turismo 125.

Hello Matt, Roger Edge is the man to contact regarding age of machines. He is on this forum i believe. Where in England do you live? there are 5 Rumi owners living in Kent.

Hi Ren, I've not really though about a price, I would be asking around £7000 if I decide to sell, thanks Matt.
