Regolaritá Sei Giorni (Claudio - Argentina)

Post by RF125 » Mon Apr 06, 2015 10:23 pm

Hi everybody! Sometime ago i'm looking for this machine.

Then to cross paths with one of them, the owner of it was not decided to sell it, so I continued my search. A month ago appeared this other one and after a few weeks of negotiation, I finally get it.

Someone could provide data about the same, like technical details, etc etc ..

Maybe someone has some technical manual or brochures, etc ...

Does anyone know for example, because this model has the tank divided into two halves?

Well I do not want to bore you, I am waiting for some information.

Thank you very much;

:o :o :o :o :o :o Claudio!!!!!!! CONGRATULATION for finding and been able to buy that original Regolarita!!. This is the Rumi model I would like to have the most.

I hope you find all the documentation and parts necessaries to bring it back to his glory days, I am sure you will.

These four original Motorumi Regolarita "Six Days" at the photos below also have the tank divided as yours.

Claudio, The reason for the 'twin' tank maybe because of balance. With a full single tank of fuel 'slopping about' it would be difficult to balance through some of the sections.

Claudio,
congratulations is how to find a needle in a haystack.
There were also other cross bikes with 2 Tank`s, an old pilot once told me the reason, if a fall and a hole in the tank, the race may be terminated with the 2nd tank, right or wrong ??

Hi Rudolf, I read this same theory in a motorcycle magazine in which there is a note of this motorcycle.

this theory seems logical.

Hello Guys !!!
Claudio, Congratulations !!!!!!!
Beautiful specimen Rumi !!!!! and in very good condition of originality !!!!! :o :o :D :D :D
Unfortunately I can not provide information about the tank (divided into 2 halves).
Surely someone must know the truth, although there are good hypothesis.

I await your comments;

Hello, well, nobody knows anything about this number. I'll have that follow searching for...

While i share with you, one note of an italian magazine where we can see the explanation of the gasoline tank division, which matches with Rudolf's theory.

Hi! How are you?
Now, i show you the differences between the Sport inlet manifold and the sei giorni one. Note that the sei giorni one, has the ports biggest than the other, because the sei giorni has Junior engine.

I hope you find somebody that have one and can guide you in any question you can face along the restoration process.

Very interesting the manifold detail and photos ;)

Hi Claudio,

I just came across in my computer with this photo that I took several years ago in a Rumi meeting in Italy.

That is an original unrestored 'Regolartita Sei Giorni'. This photo may help you with your project.

Hi, i actualize this post with the finally results. The motorcycle was pretty complete, but with some missing parts, mainly all the parts in the rear hub, except the hub, the silencers and the exhaust pipes and the clamps missing too.

The first step, was collect information, thanks to Ferruccio and Hiroshi from Japan, who help me so much, i could obtain some measures to start imagining each piece and then draw them. This was possible, because i know the system, since it is similar to scoiatollo.

This is how i received the motorcycle:
