Which model do you have 1st version 2nd version or Sei Giorni,? if it is a Sei Giorni I may be able to help as I am just about to start restoring one.

Great to hear of another one, this is in my opinion the most interesting machine to be commercially supplied by Rumi. I am just starting my restoration so I expect we can help each other with information, also Claudio from Argentina is just finishing a superb Sei Giorni restoration, so I am sure you will find any information you need on this forum. I am interested to find how the rear of the fuel tank is fixed/secured, and a picture of the rear seat bracket that secures it to the frame. Regards, Graham.

H Michael,

It is great to hear that another Regolarita Sei Giorni is around. It will be great to see those photos once you took them in your mother house.

Looking forward to it.

Greets,
Hugo

Hi Michael,

I just sent you an email to this email account but I got a message saying that this email address is wrong.

Can you confirm if the email address is correct?

Greets,
Hugo

Good morning and thanks for adding these pictures. Very interesting to see another Sei Giorni with plain "non adjustable" rear dampers. My one has the same. I have also seen them on Ferruccio,s fabulous unrestored example, and it looks like a few of the ones in the competition section of Crippa,s book also have these same "plain" dampers. I would be interested to know if these where fitted to replace worn-out adjustable,s, or where the adjustable,s replaced from new with the plain versions on later machines for another reason?.

Will come back to you with details when I proceed with the restoration - at the moment I need a brake with the axle (foot brake) - perhaps I can take the one of my Rumi Bicarburatore and let it rebuilt ???
Also have problems with the axles of the tires - need some spacers or a picture how to do ?

The spacer you have in the rear wheel, at the left side, it's the spacer you missed in the front wheel.

But i suspect, you dont have the Sei Giorni's hubs, have you Sport's hubs?
if you have sport's hub, the spacers will not fit in the correct place.
Can you measure the diameter in the both hubs?

Good luck!

Remember, if you haven't problems, can you tell us the frame number??

Regards.

The distance ring from the rear wheeel on the left side does not fit to the front wheel because of the tacho / speedindicator on the front hub...t

your motorcycle is very different to my sei giorni. I am sure they should not have a speedometer.

sorry I did not notice your previous post, I see that you are aware that you have the wrong hubs, "along with many unsual/different features"

Right, if you haven't the correct hubs, we will cannot help to you, because the originals spacers will don't fit with the normal hubs.
you must design your owns spacers..

However, if the rear hub is normal, you must have the rear sprocket screwed to the hub, and in the sei giorni, this is not the case.

Ok, thank you Michael.

This Sei is most interesting now, because i know an 100% original Sei Gorni with the same frame number. Could Rumi to have marked two motorcycles with the same frame number???

Regards;

Claudio
